Pastoralism and the Post 2015 Agenda

Pastoralism is practiced by many indigenous Peoples. its value in ecosystem conservation , carbon sequestration and production of healthy meat products is often misunderstood or undervalued. The livelihoods of Indigenous pastoralists is under threat due to a number of challenges. Various enabling conditions are required for sustainable pastoralism to fulfill its potential in the Post 2015 Agenda.
