This fact sheet highlights the process, outputs and outcomes of the preparation and submission of Afghanistan’s Second National Communication under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, with the aim of strengthening the country’s technical and institutional capacity to integrate climate change priorities into national development policies, plans, and strategies.
