| dc.description | Adopt the Fishing for Litter Guidelines in accordance with Articles 9(6) and 10(e) of the Marine Litter Regional Plan; Adopt the marine litter baseline values; Adopt a basin-wide marine litter reduction target of 20% of beach litter by 2024 and a significant and measurable decrease of other marine litter items; Encourage the Contracting Parties to take the necessary measures to implement the Regional Plan in a timely manner considering as appropriate measures related to micro-plastic and submit a report on measures taken by 2017 for the considerations of COP 20. | |
