Genoa Declaration on the second Mediterranean decade - Fourth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea against Pollution and its Related Protocols

Reaffirm their commitment to the protection of the Mediterranean Sea through the implementation of the Mediterranean Action Plan as well as their determination to co-operate for the protection of the Mediterranean environment and the rational use of its resources; Commit themselves to accelerate the implementation of national and international programmes in order to achieve the objectives of the various components of the action plan; Adopt ten priority targets for the second decade of the Mediterranean Action Plan.
