DECISION OF THE MEETING - Fifteenth Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean and its Protocols; Format for the Implementation of the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols

Adopt the Reporting format for the implementation of the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols and agree to establish a Working Group on Effectiveness; Request the Contracting Parties to submit their report on the implementation for the period 2006-2007; Request the Secretariat to accelerate the work for the establishment of the online reporting system in the framework of the MAP information system, to provide the necessary data into the MAP electronic system database, and promote the regional assessment reports through electronic means or other tools to raise the profile and the visibility of MAP.
