Adopt the Mediterranean Action Plan Phase II and commit themselves to the full implementation of the Mediterranean Action Plan, the Barcelona Convention and its Protocols; adopt the Priority Fields of Activities for the Environment and Development in the Mediterranean Basin (1996-2005); Decide the establishment of the MCSD; Decide the preparation of the Hazardous Wastes Protocol and the amendment of the LBS Protocol.
