dc.descriptionThe UN Environment Programme in collaboration with Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Kenya), Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Kenya), and the Africa Network for Animal Welfare is organising a two day multi-stakeholder workshop to discuss the outcomes of the second session of the UN Environment Assembly and the Paris Agreement. The workshop which will take place on 20 -21 September 2016 at the United Nations Compound, Conference Room 3 in Gigiri Nairobi. It will focus on climate change, food security and environmental conservation, the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the implications of these issues for East and Southern Africa.The workshop targets representatives from governments, the judiciary, civil society, private sector and business fraternity, media, international environmental conservation organizations, United Nations Organisations and other stakeholders from East and Southern African.en_US
