Report of the UN Environment Submitted to the 12th Session of the UN-Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

This year’s report to the UNPFII provides an overview of UNEP’s most relevant projects and programmes in relation to Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Peoples’ issues. It focuses on the suggested themes of education, health and culture as well as the African continent as well as introducing new activities at global or regional level. The report provides updates of projects and relevant recommendations made to UNEP individually or as a partner UN agency.
