Strategic Action Programme to Address Pollution from Land Based Activities (SAP-MED) and Related National Action Plans (NAP): Implementation Status 2000–2015

This report summarizes the progress achieved on SAP-MED and NAP implementation, including identification of remaining challenges. It highlights several gaps related to the implementation of the NAPs, increasing trends of a number of pressures on marine and coastal environment, and the need for enhancing NAP financial sustainability and effective and streamlined reporting.
