dc.descriptionThis report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP-GEF project implemented between 2009 and 2014. The Project Objective was to assist Lao PDR, to have a workable and transparent National Biosafety Framework by 2010, to fulfil its National Socio-economic Development Plan and implement its obligations as a Party to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the CPB. The objectives of this evaluation are: to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements; and to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and their executing partners.
