UNEP Annual Evaluation Report 2002

The 2002 Annual Evaluation Report provides a review and analysis of three Subprogramme evaluations, 14 in-depth project evaluations, one desk evaluation and 106 self-evaluations conducted in 2002. The analysis was based on the standard United Nations evaluation parameters of appropriateness, effectiveness, efficiency and impact. At the Subprogramme level, the report describes the approaches and strategies used in implementing the UNEP programme of work. At the project level, the effectiveness and efficiency of institutional structures used in delivering project outputs, sustainability of results achieved, budget utilization, timeliness of project completion and project impacts were reviewed.
