In view of the constantly growing interest on the part of medical scientists, biologists and specialists in many other fields of knowledge in the problems of protecting the environment from chemical pollutants, there is an urgent necessity to bring together, arrange appropriately and standardize the basic terminology relating to preventive toxicology.
