The Lessons Learned Workshop of the Minamata Initial Assessment Project in Asia was organised by International Environmental Technology Centre, Economy Division, United Nations Environment Programme, and hosted by the Minamata Environmental Academia, Minamata City on 30-31 May 2018 in Minamata City, Kumamoto, Japan. The workshop focused on sharing the project information and results among the participating countries and discussing how to effectively implement the convention and fully comply with all the provisions of the convention.
