| dc.description | This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP/GEF Medium-Sized Project implemented between 2017 and 2021, entitled “Promoting sustainable land management in Albania through integrated restoration of ecosystems (SLM Albania)”. The project’s goal was to strengthen the capacity and skills of national and local government institutions and promote sustainable land management practices in Albania through integrated ecosystem restoration. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The evaluation has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the National Forestry Agency, the Municipality of Kolonja, and other project partners. | en_US |
