This document summarizes discussions and key recommendations for action identified at the event ‘Untangled: Regional workshop on ghost gear in the East Asian Seas’ held on 1-2 March 2023 with a field trip on 3 March. The workshop was organized by the Secretariat of the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA) and the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) with support from the Government of Canada through the Ghost Gear Fund.
