• familiarize Afghanistan’s environmental professionals with principles of and approaches for
developing SoE reports, including the analytical framework of Integrated Environmental
Assessment;

countries, regions and UNEP’s flagship Global Environment Outlook process;
• help develop and agree on organizational arrangements and the roadmap for the preparation
