dc.descriptionThe eighth meeting of the Executive Board of the Special Programme to support institutional strengthening at the national level for the implementation of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm (BRS) conventions, the Minamata Convention and the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), which took place in hybrid format in Geneva, Switzerland, was opened by Ms. Kay Williams (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at 09:30 (CEST) on 15 February 2023. Ms. Williams welcomed the participants to the first in-person meeting of the Executive Board since the start of the pandemic. The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Williams and Ms. Irma Gurguliani (Georgia).en_US
