Tunisia’s NAP process began with a thorough assessment of the state of SCP in the country, and from that two 10-year plans were developed, one for the agri-food sector and the other for tourism. Development of the NAP, and the two 10-year plans, required widespread consultations, with government, business and industry, community organizations, media and academia, with
the aim being to ensure the coherence, sustainability and implementation of the plans.
