Sustainable waste management is crucial to delivering the Sustainable Development Goals. Prioritising waste reduction, recycling and safe disposal can address some of the most pressing social, economic and environmental issues of our time. This report recognises that waste management cuts across all the Goals and makes policy recommendations on how to mainstream waste management into sustainable development efforts.
