Perspectivas del Medio Ambiente Urbano - GEO Buenos Aires
Description
La metodología de GEO Ciudades proporcionada por el Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente - Oficina Regional para América Latina y el Caribe (PNUMA- ORPALC), da un modelo para los informes ambientales integrados y éste fue el utilizado en GEO Buenos Aires. El Proyecto GEO Ciudades responde a una prioridad de la región y del Foro de Ministros y tiene como objetivo promover una mejor comprensión de la dinámica de las ciudades y sus ambientes, suministrando a gobiernos locales, científicos, formuladores de políticas y público en general, información confiable y actualizada sobre sus ciudades. Se analizan las condiciones y tendencias ambientales y se evalúan las fuerzas motoras y políticas que influencian o causan las tendencias ambientales.
