REPORT OF THE MEETING - Meeting of MAP National Focal Points, UNEP(DEC)/MED WG.190/12

Comment on the progress report on activities for the period 2000-2001 and consider specific matters regarding coordination (legal, institutional and financial framework, MCSD, information and cooperation), as well as some of the MAP main priorities, such as pollution prevention and control (activities related to land-based and sea-based pollution and cleaner production), conservation of biological diversity and Specially Protected Areas (SPAMI list, data collection and assessment, planning and management), sustainable management of coastal zones, integration of environment and development (tourism, urban management, rural development), and other issues.
