dc.description	Comment on the progress on activities for the period 1996-1997 and consider specific matters regarding coordination (legal framework, information and participation, programme coordination) as well as some of the MAP main priorities, such as pollution prevention and control (implementation of the LBS, Dumping, Emergency Offshore and Hazardous Wastes Protocols), conservation of biological diversity (implementation of the SPA Protocol), sustainable management of coastal zones (MCSD, CAMP), integration of environment and development (MCSD activities), and other issues.
