DECISION OF THE MEETING - Seventeenth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean and its Protocols;Criteria and Standards for bathing waters quality in the framework of the implementation of Article 7 of the LBS Protocol

Adopt the criteria and standards for bathing waters in the Mediterranean region; Request the Contracting Parties to ensure its proper implementation, with support from the Secretariat, to establish beach profile for each bathing water within a period of four years and to report to the Secretariat on progress achieved through biennial reporting on the implementation of the LBS Protocol.
