DECISION OF THE MEETING - Eighteenth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean and its Protocols;Ecosystems Approach including adopting definitions of Good Environmental Status (GES) and targets

Adopt an integrated list of Mediterranean Good Environmental Status and related targets, associated with the Operational Objectives and Indicators agreed at the COP17; Endorse the process to finalize the next steps of the Ecosystem Approach Roadmap; Adopt data sharing principles; Endorse the governance structure established to advance the implementation of EcAp; Encourage the finalization of the Socioeconomic Analysis and further implementation of the Ecosystem Approach; Request the Secretariat to take a series of actions in view of the implementation of the Ecosystem Approach.
