The objective of these Procedures is to enable NOWPAP member states to assess the status and impacts of eutrophication in their respective sea areas, by using information obtained through existing monitoring activities. The assessment results can hopefully be utilized by each NOWPAP member state for consideration and for the development of monitoring systems and countermeasures against eutrophication. The content of these Procedures will be continuously revised and improved on according to feedback from member states.
