A Subregional Awareness Raising Workshop on the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade, Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and the Basel/Waigani Conventions was organised by UNEP Chemicals, Geneva, Switzerland, in collaboration with the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), Apia, Samoa.
