This document reproduces the substantive part of the report of the GESAMP Working Group on Review of .Harmful Substances, approved by the sixteenth session of GESAMP (London, 17- 21 March 1986). The present report covering organosilicons (silane and siloxanes) has been prepared using the same methodology and its publication was approved by the Sixteenth Session of GESAMP (London, 17-21 March 1986).
