Within preparation of «The National Report on the State of the Environment of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2006-2011», a situation analysis of environmental parameters in the Kyrgyz Republic was conducted in following areas: air pollution and ozone depletion, climate change, water resources, biodiversity, land resources, agriculture, energy, transport and waste. This report is a joint contribution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UNDPUNEP Poverty and Environment Initiative into the national process of the implementation the global decisions made during the Rio + 20 Conference.
