A healthy environment is a precondition for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. To be able to meet environmental objectives, Governments need accurate and reliable environmental data. In Guyana, UNEP worked with various government entities to devise ways of producing better environment-related data, to clarify legal mandates and to improve coordination and exchange across government agencies.
