This decision among other things, calls for the adoption of an ambitious and outcome-based New Collective Quantified Goal on climate finance (NCQG) at COP29 with a quantum of not less than USD 1.3 trillion annually, emphasises the importance of advancing discussions on the reform of the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), underscores the importance of advancing work at COP 29 towards fully operationalising the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA), urges developed countries to implement the GST outcome, and calls for the full operationalization of the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage with sufficient resources to respond to the needs of developing countries.
