Ethiopia is most vulnerable to climate change and extremes mainly due to its location, dependency of climate change sensitive sectors and low adaptive capacity. Climate change and extremes such as drought, flood, and temperature extremes, delaying of rainfall onset, early rainfall cessation, and high rainfall intensity have been compromising the sectors' performance and causing poverty and food insecurity.
