The aim of this Integrated Report is to describe harmful algal bloom (HAB) problems in the NOWPAP Region, and to identify the necessary future activities of Special Monitoring & Coastal Environmental Assessment Regional Activity Centre (CEARAC) for tackling these problems. The information included in this report is mainly based on National Reports submitted by the NOWPAP Member states in 2004. Useful supplementary data from other sources is also utilised for purposes of this report.
