dc.description | Technical quintozene (pentachloronitrobenzene) is a white solid with a musty odour, that, is used in formulation as a soil fungicide and as a seed dressing. Hexachlorobenzene is a possible major contaminant in technical quintozene. Gas chromatography combined with electron capture detection is used for the analytical determination of quintozene. Exposure of the general population is mainly via residues in the food. | en_US |
