Description
Man-made mineral fibres (MMMF), most of which are referred to as man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF), are amorphous silicates manufactured from glass, rock, or other minerals, which can be classified Into four broad groups: continuous filament, insulation wool (including rock/slag wool, and glass wool), refractory (including ceramic fibre), and special purpose fibres.
