dc.description | This report documents the results of a workshop held at the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) in Nairobi 2-6 October 1995 on Policies for sustain-able integrated ecosystem management. The workshop, which was sponsored by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), aimed to improve the ability of governments to develop policies and programmes for the sustainable use of natural resources as part of integrated ecosystem management, and to stimulate dialogue among the sectors to help bridge the gap and resolve conflict. Among the results hoped for were mechanisms to harmonize national policies for the implementation of integrated natural resource management. | en_US |
