| dc.description | This paper responds to a request to UNEP from the UNFCCC Expert Group on Technology Transfer to examine operational modalities for climate technology centres and networks. The paper first dis- cusses possible dimensions for the climate technology centre and network, and it reviews a number of existing networks and centres. It then distinguishes five options for the organizational structure and describes potential operational characteristics for each of these options.
