dc.description | This report offers a comprehensive framework for understanding how gender, climate and security are linked (section II), and shares – through a series of brief case studies – practical examples of empirical research, analytical approaches, and programme interventions that can contribute to responding to these risks (section III). These cases are contributed by a diverse group of researchers and practitioners who have experienced the risks and opportunities associated with gender, climate and security in their own work. The report concludes (section IV) with a set of recommendations to guide policy-making, investments, programme design, and research, with the aim of catalyzing gender-responsive action on climate and security that ultimately contributes to inclusive and sustainable peace. The report also features two types of discussion boxes: green boxes review additional dimensions of gender, climate and security linkages, while blue boxes highlight the breadth of related research from external researchers. | en_US |
