The aim of this publication is to enhance capacities among policymakers and practitioners on EbA and to support institutions in successfully taking action on promoting EbA. This course therefore provides an introduction to the theory and to the practical aspects of EbA. The training package is primarily intended for professionals responsible for the planning and management of terrestrial and marine areas and their natural resources, not only from the environment sector, but also from other sectors (e.g. fisheries, coastal protection). It is particularly beneficial for participants working at the planning level and being actively involved in development and/or adaptation planning. Basic notions of climate change, adaptation and resilience are advantageous.en_US
