UNEP aims to carry out an evaluation of different potential pathways of the textile value chain towards sustainability and circularity, exploring the likely environmental, social, and economic outcomes, at global level, from these different approaches. There are three pathways of sustainable and circular textiles that will be analysed. These pathways are primarily based on the findings of the upcoming UNEP report (to be published in the first half of 2022) – ‘Sustainability and circularity in the textile value chain – recommendations for action and a global roadmap’.en_US
