dc.descriptionThis report provides an assessment of the status of seven countries in respect of the Protocol concerning pollution from land-based sources and activities (LBS Protocol). The report was commissioned by the Caribbean Water and Sewerage Association Inc. (CAWASA). Four of these countries have either ratified or acceded to the Protocol, namely, Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. The remaining three countries, that is, Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Suriname have to date not acceded to the Protocol. Suriname has also not yet acceded to the Cartagena Convention.en_US
