The NDC Action project supports Jordan in translating its National Determined Contributions (NDC) into actual plans and activities that can be funded and implemented. It encourages increased public and private sector investment in sector-specific NDC implementation. Jordan is implementing an increasing number of NDCs that are in line with long-term climate goals and targets established by the UNFCCC and its counterparts. The project develops and updates policies and investment plans in two sectors prioritized by the government; 1- Water for Agriculture and 2- Solid waste management. It Fosters peer learning and knowledge sharing across sectors countries, and regions. It also builds the institutional and technical capacity of key ministries and non-state actors, including business associations and financial institutions to trigger concrete investments.en_US
