dc.descriptionThe purpose of this Situation Analysis is to investigate and articulate the Cambodian context pertaining to marine litter, with the view to developing informed and responsive recommendations that dovetail with current and planned interventions in Cambodia, as well as regional and international frameworks. This report specifically focuses on macroplastic pollution from land-based sources as the most ubiquitous, lasting and wide-spread type of marine litter in Cambodia. Marine litter is a complex and multifaceted threat that necessitates holistic, systemic and highly collaborative solutions that are actionable within the local context.
