dc.descriptionThe resolution ‘End Plastic Pollution: Towards an internationally legally binding instrument’, was adopted at the resumed fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA 5.2) on the 2nd of March 2022. This resolution comes to an agreement regarding setting an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) to draft a legally binding agreement by 2024. From 28 November to 2 December 2022, the first session, INC-1, took place to begin developing an international legally binding instrument to end plastic pollution, including in the marine environment.en_US
