dc.description | We seek proposals to assist in implementing EmPower II by leveraging expertise in gender equality, renewable energy, and financial inclusion. The goal is to partner with organizations capable of carrying out activities to improve inclusive access to low-carbon technologies, promote renewable energy, and foster sustainable livelihoods for women and marginalized communities in Indonesia.
The selected organization is expected to:
1) Conduct an in-depth analysis of Indonesia’s climate action policies and frameworks, focusing on climate change, renewable energy, access to finance, and the adoption of low-carbon technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
2) Conduct an in-depth examination of regional, national, and sub-national climate change and renewable energy actors/institutions who work in climate and energy policy and planning formulation, as well as those who demonstrate a commitment to gender and human rights.
3) Identify key gaps and opportunities to enhance existing policies and frameworks by aligning them with gender-responsive and human rights-based approaches.
4) Develop strategic recommendations aimed at accelerating the integration and implementation of gender-responsive and human rights-based climate policies in Indonesia. | en_US |
