The fifth International Day of Clean Air for blue skies was observed on 7 September 2024, under the theme “Invest in CleanAirNow”. This annual observance was established following a United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution in 2019, which recognized the urgent need to raise awareness of air pollution’s widespread impact on health, the environment, and the economy.
