dc.description | India is on the move. The past two decades have seen significant improvements in household incomes, agricultural productivity and child survival. Between 1990 and 2014, as the income of the average Indian rose by an average annual rate of 4.7 percent (in constant 2005 USD), crop yields (kilograms/hectare) of all food grains rose by an average annual rate of about 2.3 percent fewer children died in the first five years of their life on average annually. | |
