The present report, submitted pursuant to the above-mentioned decision, provides an analysis of the implementation of Montevideo Programme IV since its commencement in 2010. In accordance with Governing Council decision 27/9 of 22 February 2013, it provides information on the progress made in the implementation of that decision. It also transmits the recommendations of the meeting of senior government officials expert in environmental law on the midterm review of Montevideo Programme IV held in Montevideo from 7 to 11 September 2015.
