The lake has a surface area of 900 km², with an average depth of about 2.5 meters and an elevation of about 1 meter above sea level. It is bordered by the province of Laguna in the east, west and southwest, the province of Rizal in the north to northeast, and Metro Manila in the northwest.en_US
