dc.description | The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has a strong history of supporting the
development and implementation of ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA). Since the term EbA was
adopted by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in 2010, UNEP has worked with decisionmakers
and practitioners from around the world to understand how EbA can best contribute to national adaptation efforts and to support best-practice implementation of EbA measures on the ground. This briefing note highlights UNEP's key strengths in relation to EbA and outlines some of UNEP's priorities for EbA work going forward while drawing on its extensive network and resources. | en_US |
