dc.descriptionThis Refrigeration, A/C and Heat Pumps Technical Options Committee Report forms part of the regular assessments to be carried out pursuant to Article 6 of the Montreal Protocol. It is also part of the 1998 assessment of the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel. The 1998 Technical Options Committee included 48 representatives from African, Asian, European, Latin and North American countries. Several drafts of the report were made, reviewed by the separate chapters and discussed in six TOC meetings, held in Denmark, France and in the United States in 1996 and 1997, and in India, Norway and Germany in 1998. The report was peer reviewed, and was completed in a TOC meeting following the peer review.en_US
